Choosing a Labrador Puppy Collar and Puppy Lead

When Choosing a Labrador Puppy Collar and Puppy Lead, there are a few things that need to be taken into account.

Firstly my advice would be to buy a lightweight Labrador Puppy Collar. Make sure it isn’t to wide and heavy otherwise it will be far to cumbersome for your puppy to wear.

Remember your puppy will be growing at a very fast rate so the neck size will keep changing as he grows. So I would highly recommend buying an adjustable Labrador puppy collar, otherwise you might find yourself having to buy a new collar every few weeks. For your initial Lab puppy training, I would also recommend a lightweight lead, please don’t spend much money on your first puppy lead because you will find that your puppy will spend more time chewing it, than walking with it.

The first time I put a lead on Loretta she sat down looked a this thing attached to her and decided it would be fun to chew it. My first experience of taking her for a walk I have to say wasn’t very successful.
