Aggressive Dog Behavior Training Techniques Designed to Calm Your Dog Down
In order to calm down your dog, aggressive dog behavior training may be needed. Implementing certain techniques can get rid of aggressive behavior. This will decrease potential danger created by your dog and her accompanying attitude. Check out these tricks.
Aggressive dog behavior training Techniques:
Do not make this mistake. Beating, spanking, hitting or whipping should not be used. In aggressive dog behavior training, physical abuse will not calm down the attitude your dog has, but it will only instill fear in her. This will never encourage good behavior out of your dog. So using physical force to break her roughness must not be a tactic used. Your dog needs to know you are the boss of all bosses, but in a loving way. Take your dog out for alot of exercise. Burn off your dogs energy. This will definitely calm down his nature. Consider taking taking your dog running. Play frisbee or catch. Or take your dog for a nice long walk through the neighborhood. But Do Not Plat Tug With Your Dog! I see alot of owners doing this with their dogs, giving them ropes and having them tug at it with their teeth. This is a no no in aggressive dog behavior training. Tugging Only encourages a stronger attitude and can lead to BITING and being just too rough. Avoid this if you want a calm dog. If you want a mean terror dog that scares everyone he sees, then by all means give him a rope, tie it to your car and drive 100 miles per hour….. Just kidding. Keep your dog out in the open with the family. Dogs are very social animals and they like to be part of the family, so give them tons of loving attention. Don’t keep them caged up all the time. Certain times it is appropriate to have your dog confined to a crate, but that should only be for a few hours. When you do have your dog caged, make sure it is in a nice environment with water, food, toys and a doggy mat so they can feel as cozy as possible.
