If my female was pregnant would she be aggressive to another puppy who she was just being nice 2 the day befor?
Etown asked:
I think my female is pregnant and I need to know for sure and I might not have money to take her to a vet. She is being aggressive against our other puppy, she seems to be nesting and it looks like her stomach is hair free. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, she’d show aggression.
Go get her spayed. Immediately. The last thing we need is someone ELSE adding to the overpopulation problem with a dog who has a poor temperament.

Yes it`s actually quiet typical.
Just as in women their hormones can go crazy when pregnant.
Now you ladies please don`t take it personally it isn`t meant in a harmful way
Good Luck and God Bless
She could be very uncomfortable if she is in labor and yes, can snap at an annoying puppy. Have you taken her temperature? Usually when the temp drops that is a good indication that labor has begun and she will start whelping within 24 hours. However, if you have no clue if she is pregnant, then I am guessing that you will not know if she is having difficulty when while in labor. You could lose her and the pups. I would call a vet asap. At least you will be able to have the guidence of your vet and make your female more comfortable. THEN please get her spayed. There are a lot of programs out there that will spay for free or for a reduced price.
It is certainly possible, is there any mammary development, vulvar discharge, or abdominal enlargement? If she is starting nesting behavior she is probably getting close (assuming she is pregnant). Get a digital thermometer and start checking her temp twice daily – about 24 hours before birthing her temp will fall to below 100 F normal is 100 – 102. I’ve seen it go as low as 95F( that will tell you when to lookm for the puppies. Keep the other dog away from her.
There is always the possibility that she is having a false pregnancy but everything should happen just like a normal pregnancy. Good luck
