First Night With New Puppy.

The first night with new puppy can be stressful. After a long day first day not only will you be exhausted but so will your new Labrador puppy.

Don’t be fooled it to thinking that your new puppy will be so tired after such a long day he will fall into a long deep sleep. I hate to break this to you but the chance of this happening are slim, but you never know you might be one of the lucky ones.

Your puppy has had a long stressful day and he will be keen to keep his new family in sight. he will find an untapped energy to voice his protest and some puppies can be very persistent!! From such a small thing you will surprised at how much noise he can make.

So how are you going to get through that first night with new puppy ?

Well firstly you need to make a decision and whatever you decide tonight you will need to stick to it.

The most common mistake new dog owners make is the puppy starts to make a noise you go down to calm him and you end up sleeping near the cage, then the next night the same thing happens, then you say ” just for the first few days” and before you know it every night is the same and it will be very difficult to break the habit. You will have a puppy who will refuse to settle at night unless he has company, this is no good for your puppy and it wont help you much either.

So the first night with new puppy is an important one, make the right choices. So Puppy Night Training here we come.
