Welcome to Lab Puppy Training Penny

Penny is now 6 months, and she still needs some work, so I have been reading up on your
website, which has been really helpful.

Here are some pictures of Penny . We got her at 6 weeks old, and we’ve
been through pretty much everything in the book…fleas, tapeworms,
cocchidia (not sure on that spelling), but that was all when she was really
young, and she has been perfectly healthy ever since.

When she was 3 months old, we took her on a road trip from Raleigh, NC up to Massachusetts, and
she was perfect. Not one accident the whole trip!

Penny is a great swimmer too. She hates baths, but we took her to a river
near by and she just jumped in on her own and swam down to some rocks. After
that, she would go in the water every time we went to a lake, river,
anything.

She got spayed about a month ago, and when I brought her home, you
would never know she just had surgery. She was the same puppy I dropped off at the vet the day before.

Now, we are focusing in on her biting and walking on the leash.

We are crate training her because..well…here’s a perfect
example. I went outside to get the mail and stopped to talk to a neighbor
for about 5 minutes and she tore up the carpet in our apartment! And that’s
one of many stories…and that’s why  that is the next big thing I really
want to work on with her.

I took your tips on puppies pulling on the leash and utilized them on our walk last night, and making her sit every time she pulled really got her to calm down…so I think if we keep doing it, she
will learn! Sorry…I’m rambling…she’s so easy to talk about…

My testimonial:

I got a lab 6 months ago, and really could have used this course at that
point! Nonetheless, the course touched upon all different topics; some that
I had already gone through with my puppy, and some that she could use a
little (or a lot) more training in. It was especially convenient to have the
course sent directly to my inbox. Susanne makes herself available through
e-mail, and is willing to answer any questions you might have throughout the
course!

So thank you Susanne for everything! Keep me on your email list! I love
getting emails and I love when it’s about dogs!
