Puppy Training – Biting Problems Can Be Resolved Quickly
When it comes to puppy training biting is often our first reason to begin. Biting puppies can be a real problem and training puppies to not bite should begin as soon as the first signs manifest themselves. Although there are quite a few different techniques we can employ, the use of a growl to get out puppy to behave has been very effective for many owners.
A soon as your Dog bites your hands or ankles you need to give a deep voiced and quite menacing growl. Ensure it is as deep as possible and mimics the noise other Dogs make to each other when unwanted behavior is occurring. All Dogs will have an innate understanding of what this noise signifies. They know they are being told in no uncertain terms that their behaviour will not be tolerated.
This technique really is very effective indeed. By showing we are in control and the leader of the pack our puppy will know what and what it is not allowed to get away with. You may feel a little foolish but so what. I would rather feel a bit daft making animal noises than be covered in bites form my naughty puppy.
Try this puppy training against biting technique and fairly soon biting puppies will be a thing of the past. Training puppies to not bite can be approached in many different ways but this is one of the best, especially if you have a very confident Dog that really needs to be given some strong direction.
