lab puppy training secrets

Angel asked:

I have a lot of traffic in my home. One of my 3 dogs barks every time someone comes in. I’ve tried shock collars and spray collars. Both worked for a short while, but she started barking again. This dog has been through training, and minds well except for the barking. I’m at wits end.
I might add I run a business out of my basement. People walk in so I am not with the dogs. They are behind a gate that, even though they could, they don’t jump, but one of them does all the barking.

I hope this video to stop dog baking helps

David L asked:

My neighbors dog barks a lot and it is often times when no one (save the dog) is home.

This is really getting on our nerves considering we have very little free time to relax and when we are trying to relax (or even sleep!) this dang dog just keeps barking!

Any type of ways to deal with this?

Try buying a sonic bark stopper. You Plug it into the wall and when the dog barks it give out a signal that only the dog will hear and it should stop it barking.

dog barking
jammin_772001 asked:

I live in a community with lots of dogs. I have a German Shepherd that I keep beside my house. And she rarely reacts to the other dogs when they are barking even when there is a lot of barking. Today I walked to my neighbors house, out of her sight, and as far as I know she didnt even know I was outside, and I was barked at by another dog. As soon as I was being barked at she started to bark back and getting very hyper. From my experience with her not barking it seemed to me that she knew the I was the person being barked at. Anyway thanks in advance.

Your Lab Puppy Pictures this is Smokey
lab puppy training smokey

Our black male Labrador, Smokey, is too gorgeous. He is such a quick
learner. He obviously chews a lot, but with your tips he is learning very
quickly not to chew on my toes or trousers. He has alot of toys and rubber
chew toys. When we play with him and throw a ball he brings it back to us.
When we call him he runs to us. We have a female boxer and two cats. Even
from the first day he was introduced to them, all of them excepted him. I
was so relieved.

Kind Regards and have a lovely day.

Lizelle

All That I’ve Got << asked:

Our dog has recently taking to barking at night time, and during the day when we are out. Our neighbour has complained about him, and its getting really annoying!

At night it is because he wants upstairs so that he can sleep on my mom’s bed. He usually wakes us up at around 3am, and she relents because she is tired.

During the day i think its mainly down to boredom-what can we do to remedy this?

I’ve heard of anti-bark collars but they are really expensive.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
My mom walks a friend’s dog 3 days a week who barks a lot, and he only started doing this after being together with her for a while. They usually sit downstairs and howl together, even after having had a long walk.
